Womens Day

Is der a need to celebrate womens day? I dont think so....Recently women were hit for sitting in a pub,a women was asked to strip naked for filing an FIR against her husband.Moreover the socio economic indices of women is bad in our country.
Its important to first brew respect for women in reality than celebrating womens day.Its just the few elite class who know the real meaning of it....most of the Indians dont even know what dis is all about....We never celebrate mens day...y???because der dominance is already all over the place...well let me not be so pessimistic..
Celebrating womens day is not bad also....because the way awards are given to women,the way their efforts sre recognized by the media is giving a lot of exposure to women....its a subtle motivation for women who want to prove themselves to others....it indeed is bringing about a lot of difference..maybe not on a large scale...every mother should wish her daughter...nd every man shd wish his counterpart womens day...these small gestures not only makes a woman feel special but reminds her of her space which she forgets about because of innumerable number of reasons....

see how high you fly
rediscover yourself
break the inhibitions
shout out loud and
let the world know
how proud you are
of youself.......

Prostitution in Indian Subcontinent

As in many parts of the world,the prevalent perception of prostitution in the
Indian Subcontinent is that women are either forced into this trade or that
they adopt this strategy willingly, albeit in extreme circumstances, to make
ends meet. Even though the complexity of the women's family in trafficking
them is sometimes recognized, no special significance is attached to it. The
dominant social ethos treats the family as naturally concerned about its
women's purity and chastity.

I've made my share of mistakes,
cried out loud in my room
because of those mistakes
Now when i look back at those days i realize

rectify those mistakes
it depends on how much we
understand ourselves
or else rectifying those mistakes
leads us in making more of such
mistakes.....

because der is no dead end
its just another hurdle god wants us to cross
and with every hurdle that we cross
we come to know more about ourselves
and finally start loving ourselves

Till we dont love ourselves
